Send email from within karmaCRM
If there's a follow-up task, provide the option to "email user" from the task list. this could initiate your favourite email app to pop up with a new email addressed to the user

Ability to work offline, similar to dropbox that syncs all files.
Work offline while on the plane, at home etc that syncs back to one account. Changes made on the desktop version, iphone etc sync with the online version. Same way Dropbox does.

Automatic follow-up tasks
When a new user is created, have the option to select a set of automated follow-ups that set up events/tasks for the user. For example, if it was a new email lead, once this contact is entered, select "new lead" auto notifier which will remind you to follow-up within a week, 2 weeks, etc (configurable) so the contact doesn't get lost.

Social CRM
Integrate karmaCRM with social networks making karma a Social CRM. This integration will perform 2 primary functions.
1) Suggest and auto-fill customer profiles for you based on other accounts we find such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook accounts we find.
2) Consolidate communication with the social networks so you see everything within karmaCRM.Networks that will be included

We will be adding full scale social integration later in 2012 (Most likely late summer, early fall) and will include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ etc.Social is an important and growing part of CRM and we want to make sure we get it right.

Invoicing Add-On
It would be great to be able to create invoices based on contact data and deals. It should be possible to save the invoices in several file formats, for example as excel- or pdf-files. This would make it easy to send them by mail to the customer.

Upload file ONCE use many times
When creating new deals with the same content but to different customers, it should be possible to reuse files instead of uploading them again.

You will be able to search for existing files to assign to a record instead of uploading new files.

Integrate Evernote.
A lot of sales pros use Evernote to scan business cards, or keep certain files, etc, in the evernote app. Being able to link a contact with certain notes would go a long way to integrate existing workflow.

Project Management Add-On
For small companies that want to sell a company and then track their progress through a 10 step production process and then move the client into a remarketing situationj. Let the user edit the names of the steps and modify the order of the steps. Have 3 columns. 1st column is name of the project step. 2nd column is check box to fill out when step is completed... 3rd column is date field to show when each step was complete. Allow user to create views to see where each project is in terms of project phases.

Allow users to enter time spent on each Case update to see how much time was used on the Case.
Each time a case is updated, there should be a field to specify how many minutes was spent on the udpate. That way, we can see how much time was spent on a case at the end and be better able to tell clients how long a particular task should take. Also, It would be useful to link this back to the Company or Contact the Case is associated with to see how much time you spent resolving cases for that client / company.

Email/sms messages sent to contacts that you have an appointment with
I would like to see a way that a contact gets an email or SMS reminding them about an appointment that I have with them. Ideally, there would be a template that would be editable to allow for this. Even better would be the ability to customize the template based upon the type of appointment.

Reoccurring Tasks
Add the ability to have reoccurring tasks like you can with events. The ability to add one task and have it replicate daily, and the ability to select which days of the week a task can reoccur, like mondays, wednesdays and fridays.

Alpha quick sort
Under contacts and companies include the alphabet A-Z (individual letters or groups A-C, D-F, etc.) so that when the user wants to jump to that section of the contact list they don't have to page through.

Please create a "Call Sheet" widget, that compiles all the days (call tasks) in 1 sheet and can be printed out for sales people.

Deals should be also recurring.
